Do you offer free consultations?

Yes! We love meeting with potential clients and getting to know them! If you'd like to meet over Zoom, head over to our "Contact & Book" page where you can schedule a free Meet & Greet with us. During that first meeting, we will get to know one another, maybe talk about our fur babies, and you'll get to share about your vision for the day!

Do you offer a second shooter?

Accepted Answer

All wedding, elopement, and special event packages include two shooters. A second shooter can be added to any non-event package for an additional $200 per hour of shooting.

Do you offer services outside of the Greater Seattle Area?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We love to travel and would be more than happy to cover your event or special occasion, no matter where it takes place! Travel fees vary based on location. Please reach out to us and we can discuss your vision!

Do you offer add-ons services for weddings or elopements?

We do! Weddings and elopements are our absolute favorite events to shoot... don't tell anyone! There is so much love and so many details to capture on the big day, that we want to make sure that we do everything we can to make it the day you dreamed of! Below are the current add-on services we offer to our wedding and elopement couples: 
 
Highlight Video - $1000
Relive the magic of your wedding day with a cinematic 3-5 minute highlight video that captures the big moments of your day. From the first look, to the last dance, your highlight video will help preserve all the emotions, laughter, and love for a lifetime.

Curated wedding album design - $250
Suan Photography will recommend heirloom quality albums in either premium linen or authentic leather, available in different standard sizes, and will work with you to design a stunning wedding album for you (and/or your loved ones!) to enjoy for years and years to come.

Custom flat-lay - $100 
Suan Photography will provide a velvet ring box (single, double, or triple pocket) to match or compliment wedding colors, ribbon (velvet, chiffon, or satin) to match or compliment wedding colors, and a wax seal stamp (including a gold wax seal). Items are for photo-use only. Additional items can be added (e.g., antique tray) for an additional price; price varies.

Rehearsal dinner or welcome party coverage - Starting at $400
Suan Photography will provide 1-3 hours of coverage for your rehearsal dinner or welcome party. Please reach out to ensure availability of your date. If additional hours are needed, please reach out.

After-wedding or first anniversary session - Starting at $400
Suan Photography will provide a 1-1.5 hour after-wedding or first anniversary session. Please reach out to schedule.

Do you provide raw images?

The short answer is no.

We want to share a little bit about why we don't though. We hope that when you hire us as your photographer, it's not just for our skills in capturing a photo, but it's for our skills in transforming a special moment into a lifelong, cherished memory through careful curation, refinement, and editing.

How many edited images will I receive?

We always provide our clients all images except for those which do not meet our quality standards e.g., blurry, unflattering. Please see each photography package for the typical number of final images received.

What's your photography style?

We are primarily documentary-style photographers! This means that we focus on capturing the emotion and essence of your wedding day. We do this through images of you interacting with each other and your loved ones in organic ways. Your wedding day will fly by and before you know it, it will be in the rear view mirror and you'll be trying to remember all the details of the day. We want your wedding pictures to help you relive the amazing day you shared with your nearest and dearest.

We said we're primarily documentary-style photographers, so what else do we do? We like to provide guidance and direction when needed, such as during the bride and/or groom portraits, family and/or bridal party pictures etc.

Depending on your comfort level and experience in front of a camera, we will work with you to find the best approach for your special day.

Additionally, when it comes to some of the detail shots we'll take on your wedding day, we will take a more editorial approach. Think romantic flat-lays, close-ups of the rings, and styled images of the florals and footwear.

What is your editing style?

We primarily edit true-to-life color and we like to subtly enhance the vibrancy of the images using contrast.

That said, we have experience editing with warmer tones, moody and dark tones, and even in a way that makes the final images look as if they were taken by a classic film camera.

We talk extensively with our clients to ensure that we understand their vision and, when needed, ask for examples of what they would like.

Can we request specific poses or shots?

Of course! While we can't guarantee exact replication of your inspiration image(s), we will do our best. In many cases, sharing an inspiration photo or two with us can help ensure that we understand the specific "look" that you're after.

Question 10

When can we expect to receive our photos?

Accepted Answer

Weddings & elopements: Just two days after your wedding day, you will receive sneak peeks directly to your email. Within two months of your wedding day, you will receive a link to your private online wedding gallery!

All other sessions: You will receive your private online gallery within three weeks of your session date.
